Who am I, anyway?

Hi, my name is Eva. I’m a writer/director/all-around filmmaker from Florida, now based in the forests of Atlanta, Georgia. As a self-proclaimed “weird girl,” I tell stories about the off-beat, in-between moments of adolescence in the American South. That’s what speaks to me: that awkward, strange time between childhood and adulthood, and the objective humor around it.

My work explores female loneliness, connection, and the search for acceptance, always striving to honor my inner 14-year-old self. Usually this includes listening to a lot of emo music and being as earnest as I can possibly be.
